Kyle Bressler of Decatur awarded 2004 Graham Baker Morin Memorial Scholarship

The Washington State Wrestling Coaches Association and the family of Graham Morin recently announced that Kyle Bressler has been named this year's recipient of the Graham Baker Morin Memorial Scholarship Award. The scholarship, awarded annually to a graduating senior from the State of Washington, is based upon strong academic performance in school, leadership qualities, and wrestling talent. Kyle, who will receive $3,000 as the winner of the scholarship, will be attending Oregon State in the fall. The family of the Graham Morin see Kyle as a person that truly represents the qualities and goals of the scholarship.

Kyle has served as a leader for his extremely successful sports teams, for his school, as well directing volunteer activities in his community. He currently stands 4th in his class and has a 3.97 GPA, while challenging himself in honors classes. Kyle's wrestling accomplishments include: 2 time Washington State Champ, USA Western Regional Freestyle & Greco Champ, and AAU Freestyle & Greco Champ 2003. Kyle was a unanimous choice for the committee and we look forward to his future successes.
