We woke up around 6:AM and had breakfast at a local pancake house. Some of our wrestlers had pancakes, others eggs and ham. Then we had a welcoming ceremony with Norin High School (pronounced Noree). After some speeches by staff and students, the ASB gave us Norin shirts. There were TV cameras, and later that night our wrestlers saw themsleves on the local news. Following the reception the school had a drum demonstration. We were given a tour of the school, which specializes in agriculture. They provided fresh cucumbers and some peaches that were grown by the students. We had a practice with the Norin team (7 members). Lots of drilling and live wrestling. Lunch was at a local restaurant and included breaded beef and pork. We had a 40 minute drive to the top of a mountain where we went to a hot springs to relax. When we returned to the dorm at Norin, we met our host families and spent the night with them.
