We travelled on the train and subway to go from Yokohama to Tokyo. The transportation system moves a lot of people very efficiently. The subways were confusing at first, but we managed and became pros by the end of the day two. We checked into our hotel, then took off exploring one of the largest cities in the world. Headed to Asakusa and Ueno for the first night, picked up gifts.

Day two we went to Akihabara (Electric City) and walked around 15 miles covering most of central Tokyo including the Imperial Palace, the Tokyo Tower, and dinner in Roppongi.

Our final day of touring was spent on smaller groups visiting different parts of the city.

July 9 was a long one as we checked out of our hotel at 11 AM, rode the bus to the aiport and took off around 5:15 PM. We arrived home in Seattle at 10 AM the same day. Saw the parents or drove home. It has been a good trip.
