| Roger
started the wrestling program at Issaquah High School where he was
head coach for 21 years. During his tenure, the Indians' dual meet
record was 248 wins, 48 losses including 12 League Championships,
7 Sub-Regional Championships, 2 Regional Championships and finished
in the top ten in state ten times. He also produced 6 state champions.
Under Coach Wilson's directions, Issaquah was the dominant power in
the KingCo Conference for two decades. Roger Wilson was nominated by Richard Monroe of Issaquah High School and inducted by his son, Lanny Wilson. |
