head wrestling coach at Pullman High School from 1953 to 1963, BIll
Pierson made his mark on Washington high school wrestling. During
those ten years he compiled a record that would be envied by anyone. Coach Pierson won the state title in 1957 and took second in 1963. He also placed third, fifth, and seventh during his tenure for the Greyhounds. Bill Pierson was inducted by his three sons, Richard, Sidney and Gilbert Pierson. |
