| Byron
Nelson started the wrestling program at Edmonds and Mountlake Terrace
and had 13 individual state place winners in the "AAA" ranks.
Byron never had a losing season but there were no records for his
first four years. For the last 16 years it was 142 wins and 49 losses.
He is remembered for his high principles of behavior and sportsmanship
and his personal example of clean living, high morals and physical
fitness. Nominated and inducted by Dr. William A. Tomaras, Hall of Fame Member. |
