Larry was head coach at South Kitsap for 13 years and compiled a record of 218 wins, 37 losses, and 2 ties including 91 consecutive wins with 9 consecutive years as Olympic League Champions. Eight of those years saw the team also reign as Sub-Regional Champions. Larry's teams placed 2nd in state in 1974 and 3rd in 1975. Coach Maguire was also named Washington "AAA" Wrestling Coach of the Year in 1977. Larry has recently returned to coaching at North Kitsap High School.

Larry Maguire was nominated by Bob Court of Issaquah High School and inducted by his sons, Joe and Pat Maguire.

Larry Maguire passed away in December of 2006.
