J. Herber Blanchet High School 1959-1981 |

| Bill
Herber started the wrestling program at Blanchet and held that position
for 22 years. His dual meet record of 155 wins, 129 losses and 13
ties coupled with one state champion, and ten state place winners
helped earn him "AAA" Coach of the Year in 1980. Bill's
highest compliment comes from his former wrestlers who praise his
coaching philosophy and its lifetime values. They all consider him
more than a coach; he is also a close and personal friend. Nominated and inducted by Barry Knott, at the time head coach at Nathan Hale High School. |
