Rich Graham was head coach at Elma High School for 11 seasons as his teams compiled a dual-meet record of 117-22-1 and placed in the top ten at state 10 times, second twice, third twice and fourth once. He coached 10 individual champions and 34 place winners. Both of his sons wrestled for him and took state championships. He also has been Western Washington U.S.A. Junior Director, U.S. Wrestling Federation state kids' director, a coach of the Washington State National Team for four years, a cultural exchange coach to New Zealand and a Centennial Games coach. In 1985, he was named by his peers as Black Hills Wrestling Coach of the Year. Elma High School inducted Coach Graham into their athletic Hall of Fame in 2000. |
