| Bill
built a dynasty among class "A" wrestling in the state.
During his 16 years as head coach at Cashmere, he won 5 state team
titles (1977, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982). In addition to that, he placed
2nd in 1983 and 1984, 3rd in 1972, and 4th in 1976 and 1978. Twelve
of Bill's wrestlers have collected 19 individual state champions,
including 3 titles in three different weights from his son, Russ.
Coach Elliott is held in high regard and respect by his peers and
loved by his wrestlers. Inducted by Jack Collins, Cashmere Football Coach. |
