Warren
L. Deprenger Mead High School

| Warren,
an Iowa native, started his coaching career at Mead High School in
1958 and after two years went to Clover Park High School as head coach
and math teacher for eleven years. He ran various tournaments and
summer camps while at Clover Park. In 1970 he started a small wrestling
business called Matman, which is today known worldwide. Nominated by Jim Meyerhoff, Hall of Fame member and inducted by Richard Sowell, a close friend. |
