| Dick's
astounding record at Moses Lake High School was 281 wins, 43 loses
and 3 ties. During those 15 years his teams won 92 consecutive matches
and took home four state titles, three seconds and finishes of fifth,
sixth, seventh, and ninth, thus placing in the top ten eleven times.
He produced 16 individual state champions and 45 state place winners.
Dick was the coach of our first Washington State Cultural Exchange
team to Japan in 1970 and has served as a wrestling official for
26 years. Coach Deane's life has been an inspiration to the sport
of wrestling. Dick is currently an assistant principal at Moses
Lake HS.
