| Coach
Cook was born in Bellingham on March 29, 1940 and attended Burlington-Edison
High School where he was coached to a state championship by Hall
of Famer Bo Campbell. Bryce wrestled at Washington State University
where he was a captain in 1963, Pac 6 champion and NCAA participant.
Now retired, Bryce coached for 30 years in the Edmonds School District
compiling a 255-103-2 dual meet record.
Bryce coached
his teams to three WESCO titles, coached six individual state champions
and he was the 1989 "AAA" Coach of the Year. He is also
the past recipient of the Pacific Northwest Wrestling Officials
Association Daryl Whitman Award. Bryce served as a WSWCA officer
for four years and hosted several cultural exchange teams.
Bryce and his
wife Donna live in Mt. Vernon and have two children; Mark and Christy.
Bryce's hobbies include hunting, fishing and woodworking.
He was nominated
