Birbeck Timberline High
School, 1970-1986 |
 |
| John
started the wrestling program at Timberline and was head coach for
15 years. His team won the "AA" State Title in 1975 and
was runner-up in 1974. He has produced 3 state champions and numerous
place winners. John has been actively involved in the State Wrestling
Coaches Association as a regional representative. He has hosted many
freestyle tournaments as well as Sub-Regional and Regional tournaments. Nominated by Pat Alexander, Tumwater Wrestling Coach and inducted by his son and former wrestler, Jeff Birbeck, currently the coach at Timberline High School. |
