Ron
Baze Hoquiam High School, 1969-1990 |

| Ron
Baze coached his entire career at Hoquiam High School and started
the kid's and middle school programs in the community. He developed
the program into a state power, winning the "AA" State title
in 1988 and finished 2nd in 1979, 5th in 1980, 4th in 1989 and 5th
in 1990. He also produced 8 state champions and 30 place winners. Coach Baze also provided leadership for our sport as a Region III Representative on the WSWCA Board from 1986-1990 and served as a clinician at our fall clinic in 1989. Ron was elected "AA" Coach of the Year and WSWCA Coach of the Year in 1990. Ron Baze was nominated by Pat Alexander, Hall of Fame Member and inducted by Dan Daly. |
