| Steve Anderson coached at Tyee High School for four season and at Lake Stevens High School for nine, guiding the Vikings to two WESCO "AA" titles and producing 23 state placers, including three champions. He is a co-founder of the Washington State Wrestling Coaches Association and served as its treasurer for five years. He also represented wrestling on the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association Winter Sports Committee and the Washington State Coaches Association. He retired from coaching in 1986 and has served as the director of the "AA" Mat Classic, Washington State's high school championship. Steve is retired from education, serving as a principal at Kentwood and Lynnwood high schools. | |
