| Ron Snow was an assistant coach for Bill Conrad at Kennewick for seven years. During that time the Lions were a dominant team in the state. After coaching, Ron would continue his dedication to wrestling over the next twenty years as Athletic Administrator for the Renton School District. Ron served on state tournament committees for those 20 years, many times as the WIAA representative on the Rules Committee. Ron helped host the state tournament at Renton HS with Hall of Fame coach Gerald George. When his district cancelled middle school athletic programs, Ron fought the moves and established schedules with neighboring school districts to provide opportunities for students. Ron also helped Mat Classic get started and was determined to fight the effects of Title IX on wrestling in his position as A.D.
Now 72, Ron continues working as an Agent for the Swinomish Tribal Gaming Commission at the Northern Lights Casino in Anacortes. |
